Well I found this forum while tinkering around adding to my C# skills and ran across Le Gardien's "Custom RichTextBox Control" tutorial (http://janvdl.com/showthread.php?58-Custom-RichTextBox-in-C) and this place looked pretty sweet so I thought I would join. A bit about me: - I work as an IT Support Analyst at a private university in Canada, though I don't think that title fully covers all the stuff I do haha. I mainly focus on the upkeep of end user systems (desktop/ laptops) and helping students with helpdesk issues, but I also manage and deploy a lot of servers and networking hardware as well. In a dept. of only 3 people (managing over 100 staff / faculty and 1000 students), you become a bit of a jack of all trades. - I wouldn't call myself an amazing programmer, but I can stumble my way through a number of languages, mainly: C#, php, html/css, VB (.net, vbscript, vba, etc), python, java, and (recently) some powershell. Pretty much I'm just an all around tech lover that likes to tinker and learn as much as I possibly can. I look forward to seeing what there is to learn here, and where I can offer any insights I might have as well.
